Responsibilities
- Respond to internal Localization Engineering requests and advise on processes during client onboarding.
- Attend client calls as the technical advisor for Sales or Account Services and collect customer requirements.
- Prepare quote details, files, and full project workflows for technical projects.
- Create memoQ filters, process internal job requests, and integrate translations into source files.
- Perform engineering checks for file completeness and functionality and make language-specific formatting adjustments.
- Create LQA guidance, document new processes, and participate in departmental meetings and special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical/localization project management or engineering required.
- Strong client-needs analysis, troubleshooting, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a professional, tactful, and collaborative manner.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, handle changing conditions, and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, memoQ, Passolo, MadCap Flare, Adobe products, and related localization software preferred.
- Required technical knowledge includes HTML, CSS, XML, and regular expressions; JavaScript, VBA, advanced Excel formulas, CMS, scripting, automation, and translation-industry formats are preferred.
- Foreign language proficiency and website translation experience are a plus.
