Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account managers, clients, third-party teams, R&D, project managers, and delivery groups to define solution scope and requirements.
- Design end-to-end broadcast and media systems, including Evertz equipment selection, system architecture, workflows, and implementation approaches.
- Lead proposal creation and refinement and produce accurate bid documentation, design packages, gap analyses, functional specifications, and budgets.
- Provide client demonstrations and proof-of-concept documentation as needed.
- Identify and manage project risks, document assumptions, and coordinate mitigation activities before deployment.
- Act as the technical authority during design, pre-commissioning, onsite commissioning, training, and sustaining engineering.
- Identify new customers, build relationships, and maintain the existing customer base.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Electronics engineering or similar education.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying file-based workflow solutions.
- Experience designing, documenting, and sustaining full-lifecycle, end-to-end, client-facing enterprise projects.
- Experience with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, non-linear distribution, automated transcoding and quality control, and business or traffic systems.
- Familiarity with BXF and industry-standard traffic solutions.
- Experience with broadcast IT and network infrastructure.
- Understanding of application integration with business systems using XML as the interchange format.
- Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a self-motivated, results-oriented, collaborative approach.
