Responsibilities
- Develop and improve backend systems through greenfield development and enhancement of existing systems.
- Build APIs and microservices supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Postgres.
- Develop maintainable business logic using clean-code practices, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with the team to create products that support financial inclusion and cross-border financial services.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in backend development and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English.
- A track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- An ambitious, results-driven, and quick-learning approach.
