Client 360 Full-Stack Application Developer (React.js, Javascript, GraphQL), Assistant Vice President
State StreetResponsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend service-layer components, RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, domain services, orchestration, and integrations.
- Implement authentication, authorization, request validation, error handling, and consistent API contracts.
- Develop data access and persistence logic using SQL and NoSQL stores and optimize queries and data models.
- Build event-driven, asynchronous messaging, batch, and streaming integrations using tools such as Kafka and MQ.
- Develop React.js and TypeScript UI features, reusable components, accessible interfaces, and responsive experiences.
- Integrate frontend features with backend services and implement client-side validation and error handling.
- Perform unit and integration testing and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical course of study.
- Minimum 8 –10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience building secure and scalable service layers and REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with one or more backend stacks, including Node.js, Express, NestJS, TypeScript, Java, or Spring Boot.
- Solid experience with React.js, modern JavaScript and TypeScript, component patterns, and API integration.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, data modeling, and persistence logic.
- Strong unit-testing and integration-testing discipline and familiarity with CI/CD, code quality tools, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, collaboration, and English-language skills.
- A master's degree is strongly preferred.
