Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, high-availability platforms for trade booking, workflow, and post-trade processing.
- Design and scale infrastructure supporting business growth and new synthetic products through a front-to-back approach.
- Collect system data and metrics to support decision-making and business intelligence, developing tools where necessary.
- Gather requirements from traders, sales, strategists, operations, and compliance officers; design workflows, deliver features, and provide user support.
- Participate across the full product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, support, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Research, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems design, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, C, C++, or Python, with the ability to develop optimized solutions.
- Experience with AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Devin, or Cursor.
- Experience with cloud solutions including AWS, GCP, or Oracle.
- Experience in financial industry and front-office environments, with knowledge of equities synthetic or derivative products.
- Experience with Python, Linux shell scripting, state management systems, complex event processing, transaction sequencing, dependency injection frameworks such as Spring, event sourcing, concurrent and multithreaded programming, and web or UI development such as Angular or React.
