Base Salary
$97k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, peer review, deployment, and defect resolution.
- Develop software as a Java full-stack engineer for space command and control systems.
- Create software test procedures and assess software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and manage or contribute to projects and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least six years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree in either field with at least four years of related experience.
- Active US Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days and a US TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include four years of Java full-stack development, software lifecycle experience, and experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, cloud-native technologies, messaging systems, databases, and Java Spring Boot.
- Preferred experience includes C/C++ or Python, relational databases, asynchronous programming, CI/CD pipelines, collaboration tools, and SDA mission data sets.
