Base Salary
$97k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and implementation of full-stack software, including backend services, APIs, and web user interfaces.
- Develop scalable software using Java, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript for service-oriented and microservices-based systems.
- Define secure integration patterns, service contracts, and data exchanges across distributed systems.
- Guide code reviews, software testing, technical documentation, and secure-development practices.
- Resolve complex software and integration issues across development, test, and deployment environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
- Coordinate technical dependencies with partner teams and contribute to delivery planning and execution.
- Travel up to 15% as needed to support program and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least two years of related experience, or eight years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience developing production software with Java, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures, asynchronous messaging, microservices, APIs, service contracts, and distributed-system integrations.
- Experience leading technical design, code reviews, automated testing, and software-delivery activities.
- Preferred experience with C/C++, Rust, Go, GTK, Qt, Kubernetes, and event-streaming or message-bus technologies including Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, or NATS.
- Preferred experience applying UI/UX principles, defining technical approaches for complex full-stack applications, and improving continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.
