Responsibilities
- Participate in low- to moderately complex technology initiatives, including installations, upgrades, and deployments.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and availability within the technology environment.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software for low- to moderately complex projects and programs.
- Review and analyze technical assignments, research alternatives, and make recommendations for resolving issues.
- Escalate issues as needed to meet established service-level agreements.
- Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders while following security, compliance, and risk requirements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Preferred experience includes at least 1 year of cloud-native microservice application development.
- Preferred experience includes at least 1 year developing automated functional tests using BDD.
- Experience developing AI prototypes or production AI systems is preferred.
- Spring Boot application development experience is preferred.
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, Hibernate, MongoDB or related NoSQL databases, and Oracle SQL is preferred.
