Base Salary
$154k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the trusted technical advisor and Health & Human Services/Public Health domain expert for strategic State and Local Government agencies.
- Define technical business strategy with the Public Health Business Development Manager and align solution direction with mission outcomes and revenue goals.
- Lead architecture design sessions, technical deep-dives, and proof-of-concept engagements involving interoperability, population health analytics, disease surveillance, benefits modernization, and program integrity.
- Advise on data platforms, analytics and machine learning, GenAI use cases, and secure architectures meeting HIPAA, FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and data-sovereignty requirements.
- Partner with account teams on strategic account planning and help accelerate the sales cycle.
- Present at AWS and industry conferences and create blogs, whitepapers, demos, workshops, and GitHub repositories.
- Obtain AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification within 6 months and Solutions Architect Professional certification within 18 months.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with technical presentations to technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with data platforms, analytics and machine learning, GenAI, and cloud architecture, ideally in health or human services.
- Experience with security and compliance for regulated workloads, including NIST, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GovRAMP.
- Experience in Health & Human Services, Public Health, healthcare, electronic disease surveillance, population health, immunization registries, or HL7/FHIR interoperability is preferred.
- Cloud technology certification, knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, experience with end-user or developer communities, and knowledge of cloud architecture are preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed for customer engagements and industry events.
