Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of product features across backend messaging pipelines, application services, and UI components.
- Build scalable, maintainable, performant, reliable, and polished user experiences.
- Design and implement frontend components, state and data-flow patterns, routing, data loading, and server-side rendering.
- Develop and integrate APIs, authentication and authorization flows, databases, automated tests, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Validate features in real user environments and incorporate user feedback before completion.
- Partner with Product Management, Design, and engineering teams to scope work, assess trade-offs, document decisions, and manage dependencies.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, trace issues to root cause, and drive fixes through completion.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of React and modern frontend application architecture.
- Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, JSX, HTML, and CSS.
- Working knowledge of software design and architecture, Remix, React Router with server-side rendering, frontend state management, and data-fetching patterns.
- Working knowledge of design system construction and component documentation using Storybook.
- Working knowledge of API design, service integration, authentication and authorization, relational and NoSQL databases, and data modeling, including Postgres.
- Working knowledge of automated testing strategies and observability and production-readiness practices.
- Familiarity with Python, AWS, and cloud-native development.
- Ability to contribute to technical design discussions, write technical documentation, communicate trade-offs, give constructive feedback, break work into increments, and drive problems to resolution.
