Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and implementation for enterprise deployments using Deepgram speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice-agent capabilities.
  • Own post-sales technical success for assigned accounts by unblocking integrations, optimizing accuracy and latency, and guiding customers to stable production.
  • Serve as the Tier-3 escalation point, driving root-cause analysis, mitigations, durable fixes, and automation.
  • Design reference architectures and implementation patterns for contact centers, voice analytics, quality assurance, and AI-agent use cases.
  • Build reusable customer samples, internal tools, scripts, deployment guides, troubleshooting playbooks, and other technical assets.
  • Contribute to pre-sales discovery and proofs of concept when deep technical direction is required.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize fixes and features and improve the roadmap with customer feedback.
  • Document runbooks, playbooks, and knowledge resources that scale expertise across regions.
  • Participate in regional on-call or incident rotations and help meet or exceed customer support service-level agreements.
  • Own multiple EMEA customer workstreams, lead implementations or migrations, close complex investigations, and present measurable customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
  • Professional software engineering experience in at least one language such as Python, Rust, or JavaScript, with the ability to build production-grade proofs of concept and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure network design for API-driven systems.
  • Experience owning complex post-sales work such as production deployments, migrations, performance tuning, and incident response.
  • Strong written and verbal communication across technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience with speech recognition, text-to-speech, or voice agents orchestrating LLMs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with WER analysis, model selection and tuning, and accuracy-versus-latency tradeoffs is preferred.
  • Experience operating self-hosted systems, including Helm-based deployments and production observability, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, data residency, and compliance topics in EMEA enterprise reviews is preferred.
  • Fluency in an additional European language such as German, French, Dutch, Italian, or Spanish is preferred.
  • Candidates must be based in an EMEA time zone, have excellent English communication skills, and be able to travel within the region approximately 10–20 percent.
