Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software for autonomous satellite operations.
- Develop and integrate services for ground station infrastructure and satellite communication.
- Build software solutions for satellite tasking and monitoring.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to refine technical requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on safety and reliability.
- Participate in design and code reviews, and team planning discussions.
- Support on-call rotations and troubleshoot live system operations.
- Anticipate 10-15% travel to customer sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of six years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or C++.
- Experience with microservices in cloud environments and on-premise Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Some programs may require U.S. citizenship.
