Base Salary
$250k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define architecture and best practices for the platform and infrastructure layer.
- Own the deploy pipeline and lead the transition to a GitOps model for releases.
- Design and harden multi-tenant isolation and blast-radius protection.
- Lead database stabilization and platform work for performance and availability.
- Build infrastructure foundations for compliance-heavy and government deployments.
- Set standards for observability, on-call, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with leadership and product to translate platform capabilities into offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with high-performance production systems.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Strong database proficiency, particularly with Postgres.
- Architectural judgment regarding system failures and performance.
- Working proficiency in at least one application language, preferably JVM.
- Strong security mindset regarding IaC and appsec risks.
- Fluent use of AI in engineering processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with FedRAMP or other compliance deployments is a plus.
- Previous experience at a hyper-growth startup is a plus.
