Responsibilities
- Gather business and technical requirements, lead requirements meetings, and review designs with stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end system architecture, technical design, implementation, and delivery across enterprise platforms.
- Design, build, and maintain front-end, back-end, and cloud-native services.
- Lead vendor technical evaluations, integration efforts, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Mentor engineers and provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance.
- Improve the stability, performance, scalability, resiliency, and operational readiness of business-critical systems.
- Ensure unit, integration, and system testing and oversee successful production implementation.
- Own the technical delivery lifecycle from design through deployment and production support.
- Coordinate on-call support and own system monitoring and operational readiness processes.
- Partner with business, product, strategy, web, and marketing teams to translate customer problems into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Multi-platform and multi-dimensional experience with business and technical applications.
- Strong backend or full-stack engineering background with hands-on Python proficiency.
- Hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency and familiarity with React and Node.js.
- Experience with Git, GCP and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring and alerting tools.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing troubleshooting support.
- Experience delivering integration solutions in healthcare environments.
- Understanding of healthcare data standards and security requirements, including HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.
- Experience building and operating highly available cloud-native systems and leading architectural modernization initiatives.
- Leadership experience and proficiency with AI-assisted or agentic development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.
