Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy resilient backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build performant, responsive, and accessible frontends using React and TypeScript.
- Create centralized tools that provide a 360-degree view of customer financial-crime risk across multiple risk topologies.
- Own and develop common risk-mitigation components and scalable workflows for servicing agents.
- Break down servicing and compliance bottlenecks and deliver adaptable platform solutions for other product teams.
- Own the full product journey from identifying problems and planning execution to shipping production software.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with Java or other JVM languages.
- Experience building performant, responsive web applications with React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of clean, scalable, testable code, test coverage best practices, the test pyramid, and code reviews.
- Experience designing and implementing distributed, concurrent systems.
- Understanding of stateful versus stateless and synchronous versus asynchronous architecture tradeoffs.
- Ability to break complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and distributed cross-functional peers.
