Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable ingestion pipelines for pass data across Gmail, Photos, Chrome, and Android.
- Develop multimodal extraction engines using on-device machine learning, Gemini/LLM-based parsers, PDF extraction, OCR, and barcode processing.
- Improve integration quality, performance, reliability, precision, and latency across Google Play services modules, backend services, and client frameworks.
- Participate in technical design, code reviews, and robust testing practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX teams, and partner intelligence teams to define requirements and deliver seamless user journeys.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages such as C++ or Java.
- At least 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience in machine learning and AI evaluations.
- Preferred: experience with backend systems and data processing.
