Responsibilities
- Own complex features end-to-end, from design through implementation and delivery.
- Make architectural decisions and write architecture decision records documenting trade-offs.
- Build backend services and REST APIs with clean separation between public contracts and internal domain logic.
- Develop configurable Angular and TypeScript interfaces using component architecture, reactive forms, and schema-driven rendering.
- Create extensible systems using plugin patterns, hook registries, and runtime configuration.
- Design secure systems with input validation, secret management, and tenant data isolation.
- Support Kubernetes-based multi-tenant deployments and CI/CD pipeline quality gates.
- Implement structured logging, distributed tracing, and production observability.
- Identify security, isolation, and performance risks during design and mentor mid-level engineers through reviews and pairing.
- Break large problems into independently deliverable increments and help unblock other engineers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Java experience.
- Strong production experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience designing REST APIs and working with Hibernate ORM and Oracle SQL.
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript, including component architecture, reactive forms, and schema-driven rendering.
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline design, and quality gates.
- Ability to own implementation independently, make architectural trade-offs, and document decisions.
- Ability to mentor engineers and assess security, isolation, performance, and other non-functional risks.
