Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable production software and algorithms.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Build platform capabilities and operational processes for journey simulation, journey design and testing, and journey inventory management.
  • Develop an agentic intent-orchestration layer, associated user interfaces, and supporting tooling.
  • Translate self-service requirements into intuitive, accessible, and scalable UI experiences with Product and business stakeholders.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
  • Analyze and visualize large, diverse data sets to identify problems and improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute reusable component patterns and modern front-end standards to engineering communities of practice.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development using Java, React, and TypeScript, including internal tooling, developer portals, or platform-facing UIs.
  • Experience with modern CSS techniques and frameworks, mobile-first and responsive design, and API integration in frontend applications.
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Preferred experience with Webpack Module Federation, AWS, design systems and design tokens, WebSockets or event-driven UI patterns, financial services or identity domains, compliance-driven UI constraints, and backend API design and contracts.
