Responsibilities
- Build new initiatives and extend existing Olo Pay products across transaction flows, reconciliation, reporting, payouts, pricing plans, and merchant account management.
- Own complex features and projects from concept through delivery while contributing to distributed-system architecture and design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship, lead code reviews, set quality standards, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Address technical debt, improve performance and resilience, and maintain reliable production services through monitoring and incident resolution.
- Partner with Product and other stakeholders to refine requirements and align technical solutions with business goals.
- Improve development processes, tooling, testing standards, deployment practices, and shared components and APIs.
- Participate in on-call duties for the assigned team and area of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Highly proficient in .NET/C# with the ability to design and implement complex algorithms and architectures independently.
- Hands-on experience managing and improving CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy.
- Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with an emphasis on automation.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud platforms and services such as AWS, MongoDB Atlas, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Leadership and collaboration skills, including mentoring peers and leading technical discussions.
