Base Salary
$65k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test procedures for new and existing product functionality.
- Execute integration, validation, system, and regression testing and log defects.
- Analyze test results and defect data to identify problematic products.
- Maintain test procedures, test records, and testing tools and equipment.
- Review requirements and design documentation and produce quality reports.
- Support quality training, documentation, process improvements, and other departments as required.
- Report task delays or completion risks and collaborate with staff across the organization.
Requirements
- Formal post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is desirable.
- 1–2 years of experience working with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality standards is desirable.
- 1–2 years of experience developing and executing test plans in a development environment.
- Experience with all aspects of the development lifecycle.
- Experience at a commercial diagnostic ultrasound company is desirable, whether as an intern or full-time employee.
- Clinical-environment experience is an asset.
- Thorough understanding of test methodology, test plans, system and integration testing, and status reporting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, C# or equivalent languages, and defect-tracking software packages.
- Strong communication, organization, prioritization, collaboration, follow-up, adaptability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
