Base Salary
$40k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Propose and design solutions for complex business needs and prepare technical and procedural documentation.
- Facilitate complex problem resolution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
- Conduct reviews of software coding, testing, and documentation.
- Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
- Support code reviews, mentoring, team development, API development, and application support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Software Development Lead or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework.
- Front-end development expertise using Angular.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs.
- Experience with Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of OpenShift and/or Kubernetes containerization and orchestration tools.
- Python experience is preferred.
- Typically, a university or college degree and 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience are required.
- A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred skills include application development, application design, architecture, application testing, quality assurance, release management, risk assessment, software solutions, and user experience design.
