Responsibilities
- Create cost-management features including forecasts, anomaly alerts, and cost allocations.
- Develop reusable UI components and data visualization capabilities for the cost exploration experience.
- Build data pipelines and dbt models to surface user insights and opportunities.
- Improve application reliability and performance.
- Own features end to end, contributing to design, planning, implementation, testing, and delivery.
- Identify high-impact customer problems, make pragmatic trade-offs, and contribute to roadmap and software design.
- Collaborate with founders and engineers through proposals, documentation, communication, and sound decision-making.
Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with backend and data engineering skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Python.
- Experience with system design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a flexible, fast-paced, evolving team environment.
- Bonus: experience with FastAPI, Postgres, dbt, Dagster, Snowflake, FinOps, cloud infrastructure cost management, data warehouse management, observability, or early-stage startups.
