Responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce Core and Vlocity solutions using custom applications, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools.
- Configure and optimize Vlocity CPQ, product catalogs, order management, workflows, quoting, pricing, and order orchestration.
- Develop integrations between Salesforce, Vlocity, and external systems using APIs, middleware, and Vlocity DataRaptors.
- Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, maintainability, data accuracy, and security.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve integration challenges.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and solution architectures and provide technical guidance to peer developers.
- Support deployments across multiple environments using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems and resolve post-deployment issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of Salesforce development experience with strong Salesforce Core knowledge.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) tools and features.
- Experience delivering complex Salesforce Core and Vlocity solutions.
- Proficiency with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Salesforce architecture, data models, and security.
- Expertise with Vlocity OmniStudio tools, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, FlexCards, and Integration Procedures.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools such as MuleSoft or Boomi, and Salesforce Connect.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills focused on scalability and efficiency.
- Preferred Salesforce certifications include Platform Developer I/II, OmniStudio Developer, Salesforce Industries Consultant, or Application Architect.
- Preferred experience includes Agile development tools such as Jira, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Copado, and industry-specific workflows in telecommunications, energy, or insurance.
