Responsibilities
- Represent EXFO as a high-speed transmission technology expert onsite and at industry events.
- Provide pre-sales support, online and onsite demonstrations, presentations, evaluations, and technical reviews for NEM and lab customers.
- Support trade shows, conferences, and customer demonstrations focused on technical product applications.
- Participate in field evaluations and train customers on EXFO testing solutions.
- Work with Business Unit and Marketing teams to deliver current product information to the market.
- Provide competitive intelligence and field-derived feature requests to the Business Unit.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience with high-speed communications test equipment or equivalent experience.
- Degree in Telecommunications, Optics, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of high-speed transmission testing, including switches, transceivers, CPO, and NPO technology.
- Familiarity with optical and high-speed component testing and characterization using bit-error-rate equipment, optical and electrical scopes, and protocol transmission test tools.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, OTN, Fibre Channel, and related transmission protocols.
- English written and verbal proficiency.
- Strong technical aptitude, presentation, communication, organization, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and travel approximately 25–50%.
