Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, on engineering projects.
- Translate business and project requirements into technical solutions and design documents.
- Develop backend applications and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Maven, and Node.js.
- Design and work with relational and NoSQL databases and build asynchronous services using Apache Kafka and Azure Service Bus.
- Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot bugs, and support production applications.
- Perform root cause analysis, develop action plans, and resolve business and production issues.
- Manage complex projects through requirements review, implementation, stakeholder communication, and on-time delivery.
- Participate in discovery and high-level design with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience creating design requirements and high- and low-level design documents and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with Java, object-oriented programming, Spring Boot, Maven, REST APIs, and Node.js.
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos databases.
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito and integration tests using Rest Client.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Git, Bitbucket, Azure Databricks, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Azure App Services, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
- Experience with App Insights, Splunk, xMatters, Jira, and ServiceNow.
