Base Salary
$120k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, deliver, and maintain high-quality virtual desktop and infrastructure solutions with measurable reliability, performance, availability, scalability, and usability.
- Monitor infrastructure and system performance, manage incidents, identify vulnerabilities and outages, and reduce mean time to resolution.
- Develop automation and software-based processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Implement secure configurations and controls to protect infrastructure, hardware, software, and data from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define infrastructure requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Use infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices to provide consistent, repeatable, and auditable platform operations.
- Lead teams or guide collaborative assignments, advise stakeholders on complex issues, and strengthen risk, control, and governance processes.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Citrix technologies, including Citrix Cloud, CVAD, and Citrix Gateway.
- Considerable experience with Windows Server, Windows 11 multi-session, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, certificates, and VDI profile management.
- Practical experience with CI/CD platforms including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Expertise in SRE principles for improving platform reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, DSC, and PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and telemetry tools including Citrix Director/Analytics, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Splunk, or Observe.
- Experience in ITIL-aligned enterprise environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure virtual desktop technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop, identity and access management, and cloud infrastructure services for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Ability to manage risk and controls, contribute to change and transformation, apply strategic and business thinking, and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
