Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, modular, and cross-platform test automation frameworks.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute reusable automated tests across UI, API, database, and potentially mobile or desktop application layers.
  • Define test automation strategy with QA leads and developers and integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, identify root causes, and provide fixes or workarounds.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product owners, and stakeholders to align testing objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members, review automation code, and promote coding and version-control standards.
  • Manage basic test data, execute tests across environments, and report inconsistencies.
  • Document automated tests, test cases, coverage, and automation status in tools such as Jira and TestRail.
  • Identify automation improvements and reduce technical debt while supporting initiatives through technical go-live.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with at least one of React.js, Next.js, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience testing or developing APIs.
  • Experience building test frameworks and applications, performing API automation testing, and working with microservices solutions.
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar and strong experience with Docker or a comparable tool.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and independently driving assigned work.
  • Experience with Git, Azure or AWS, Robot Framework, Selenium Grid, Grafana, or ReportPortal.
  • Experience with e-commerce order fulfillment, especially SAP Commerce (CCv2) and SAP ECC SD/MM, is desired.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and knowledge-sharing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
