Responsibilities
- Architect and build high-concurrency advertising data services natively on AWS using EKS, MSK, and S3.
- Design and implement real-time and batch processing pipelines with Flink, Spark, and HBase.
- Improve system performance and reliability through JVM and garbage-collection tuning and distributed-system troubleshooting.
- Implement high-availability strategies for mission-critical, high-traffic, low-latency advertising operations.
- Develop data isolation, compliance, and governance solutions for multi-region deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-border teams and use AI coding tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Java development experience with strong knowledge of multithreading and JVM internals.
- Production development experience with Flink, Spark, and HBase.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, especially EKS, MSK, and S3.
- Expertise diagnosing OOM errors, CPU spikes, garbage-collection issues, and other performance problems.
- Strong understanding of high-availability patterns including circuit breaking, rate limiting, and distributed consistency.
- AdTech experience such as attribution, tracking, or RTB systems is preferred.
- Proficiency with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
- Strong communication skills, independent execution, and a proactive approach to complex engineering problems.
