Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts according to software engineering standards.
- Execute automated tests, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve product quality.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning and intermediate-complexity automation scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation strategies early in development.
- Create test plans, reports, and other automated testing documentation.
- Contribute to code reviews and share automated testing expertise with the team.
- Stay current with test automation tools and practices and recommend framework improvements.
- Assist in developing test strategies for product functionality testing.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Applicants with some combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience, may be considered in place of the stated degree.
- Ability to work regular, consistent, and punctual schedules, including nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
