Base Salary
$96k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java-based applications and scalable microservices for pharmacy benefit management and point-of-sale platforms.
- Build high-performance transaction systems and support system architecture and hands-on development.
- Troubleshoot complex production and system issues and report critical issues clearly and proactively.
- Collaborate with product, project, and distributed teams on technical estimates, planning, design sessions, and status updates.
- Drive development tasks independently, conduct peer code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with web services, SOAP, REST, microservices, Struts, Spring MVC, and ESB technologies such as Camel and Fuse.
- Experience with OAuth2, SAML, OpenID, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience with Git, SVN, Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins, and optimized Oracle SQL queries.
- Knowledge of system design, architecture, security best practices, distributed teams, and independent prioritization.
- At least 3 years of U.S.-based experience and 10 years of overall industry experience.
- Preferred experience with Azure configurations, AWS, Hibernate, Spring Batch, Kafka, Airflow, and healthcare, Medicaid, claims, or insurance platforms.
