Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and communicate DevSecOps automation strategies aligned with legacy-to-cloud modernization goals and customer missions.
- Create technical briefings, modernization roadmaps, and reusable solution artifacts for customer stakeholders.
- Guide engineering teams and customer personnel on CI/CD modernization, security integration, test automation, and cloud deployment.
- Evaluate legacy mainframe workflows and plan prototype implementations to demonstrate modernization feasibility and value.
- Assess modernization progress and support iterative improvements across development, deployment, security, and monitoring workflows.
- Partner directly with federal customer technical and business stakeholders in a customer-facing architecture role.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in DevSecOps CI/CD and 3+ years developing cloud-native software solutions.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications in software development, DevSecOps, or cloud-native architecture.
- Expertise in DevSecOps automation, Agile/Lean delivery, and enterprise-grade CI/CD tooling.
- Hands-on experience designing and supporting cloud-native architectures, containerized microservices, API-driven interfaces, and event-based systems.
- Experience with application containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Proficiency in modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, .NET, Node.js, Spring, Angular, React, and JSON.
- Experience with large datasets, data migration strategies, and modernization-aligned analytics workflows.
- Experience helping federal customers adopt cloud-native architectures and services, including AWS, Azure, container-based microservices, and REST APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to onboard teams into modern DevSecOps pipelines and accelerate automation adoption.
- Experience scaling high-performance engineering solutions for structured and unstructured data.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging directly with customer stakeholders at all levels.
