Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to provide business and technical leadership across multiple complex products and solutions.
- Lead consultative discovery to understand customer objectives, technical environments, operational challenges, regulatory requirements, and success criteria.
- Translate customer requirements into solution strategies, architectures, demonstrations, prototypes, and value propositions.
- Deliver sales presentations, solution workshops, product demonstrations, executive briefings, and proof-of-concepts.
- Create product, solution design, integration, and implementation specifications for complex customer environments.
- Advise on solution fit, interoperability, deployment options, data requirements, integrations, security, scalability, and implementation considerations.
- Lead RFI and RFP responses and identify and coordinate resolution of technical and business risks, gaps, objections, and competitive considerations.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, professional services, delivery, and partner teams.
- Capture customer and market feedback to influence portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, enablement materials, and go-to-market priorities.
- Support trade shows, industry events, customer forums, and customer-site activities as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, solution architecture, or a comparable client-facing role supporting complex enterprise software sales.
- Demonstrated success supporting a portfolio of products or solutions and connecting multiple capabilities into cohesive customer solutions.
- Strong business and technical discovery skills and the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear designs and compelling demonstrations.
- Experience creating and delivering product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, rapid prototypes, and technical presentations.
- Working knowledge of enterprise software architecture, cloud and on-premises deployment models, APIs, data integration, databases, security, and scalability concepts.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and collaborate effectively across sales, product, engineering, professional services, and customer teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
- Preferred experience in financial services, financial crime and compliance, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, sanctions, market surveillance, or related risk domains.
- Preferred hands-on experience with scripting, SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, data analytics, or technologies used to configure prototypes and demonstrations.
- Eligibility to participate in a sales incentive plan tied to individual and/or team sales results.
