Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support high-throughput, low-latency LLM inferencing and applied data science teams.
- Construct and maintain data pipelines and contribute to training and implementing custom models.
- Design scalable, distributed solutions for customer-facing applications, including GPU-based inference.
- Analyze potential vulnerabilities or gaps and improve product architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and reliability.
- Develop, test, deploy, monitor, log, and measure changes using engineering best practices.
- Collaborate across teams, contribute to research and development, and mentor fellow engineers.
Requirements
- Prior experience with data engineering and architecture supporting advanced data science use cases.
- Deep understanding of LLM post-training methods and computational architectures.
- Understanding of scalability and distributed systems, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
- Strong engineering practices involving testing, code review, resilient architecture, and regularly checked-in unit-tested software.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, iterative, test-driven environment and deliver commitments on time.
- Demonstrated use of AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Preferred: applied experience with scalable LLM post-training or fine-tuning architectures.
- Preferred: prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence.
