Base Salary
$88k - $132k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications and data environments supporting HIMCO Alternatives investment strategies and business processes.
- Analyze business requirements with clients, business analysts, and team members and translate them into application modules.
- Develop, modify, test, implement, maintain, and support software applications using disciplined development processes.
- Apply quality assurance principles and resolve support issues within the role’s area of expertise.
- Communicate system changes and technical impacts to business users and collaborate across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- 4–5+ years of experience developing systems with .NET, C#, SQL, and relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience with software development, testing, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, collaboration, and client-interaction skills.
- Preferred experience with Power BI, consuming and writing RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship; the company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement.
