Responsibilities
- Develop software across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and test automation.
- Design, build, operate, and improve highly available, fault-tolerant, low-latency distributed systems.
- Maintain reliable and scalable internal services and open-source tools.
- Deploy services and infrastructure changes frequently using full CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute across ideation, customer engagement, planning, design, execution, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, UX researchers, and other cross-functional partners.
- Mentor junior engineers and uphold strong coding, infrastructure, reliability, and quality standards.
- Define success for teams and the features they build and ship.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java or Go.
- Experience designing, building, and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, low-latency distributed systems serving millions of users.
- Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate complex technical issues deeply.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A supportive and mentoring-oriented approach to collaboration.
- Passion for building reliable, high-performance software and translating customer feedback into effective solutions.
- Legal eligibility to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis.
- Fluency in English.
