Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, refine, and document business and system requirements aligned with architecture standards and business objectives.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support enterprise applications, APIs, and system components throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain requirements, design, technical, testing, implementation, operational, and user documentation.
- Support system design, configuration management, code and database administration, and deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Provide functional and technical application support, participate in the weekly on-call rotation, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate solution implementation.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to track progress, resolve issues, communicate status, and support business priorities.
Requirements
- A university degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and application development experience.
- At least 6 years of Java application development experience.
- Extensive expertise with Spring Framework technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring MVC, as well as Java/JEE internals.
- Strong experience designing scalable applications using MVC, RESTful services, dependency injection, microservices architecture, JSON/XML integrations, MQ messaging, and application servers.
- Experience with application performance optimization, code tuning, SQL optimization, database design, relational databases, and Linux-based server platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and balance functionality, timelines, quality, and implementation objectives.
- Experience working with Agile and test-driven development methodologies.
- Experience with .NET applications, native iOS development, Micro Focus Visual COBOL COBJVM integration, and enterprise messaging technologies is an asset.
