Responsibilities
- Design, set up, manage, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud-based environments.
- Automate development, delivery, and deployment processes using scripts and appropriate tools.
- Monitor application performance and health, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve scalability, reliability, uptime, and availability.
- Ensure software complies with security standards and best practices.
- Support system and software deployments for internal and external clients.
- Support and train development teams in using the CI/CD environment.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure system and software architectures are integrable and releasable.
- Keep current with evolving technologies and promote internal tools and company standards.
Requirements
- Experience with software development, integration, and testing.
- Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of networking and security.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Experience with Docker or Podman containerization.
- Experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration and delivery.
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Artifactory or Nexus for artifact management.
- Experience with Grafana, Elasticsearch, or ActiveSearch for monitoring.
- Experience with Python, Groovy, or Gradle scripting.
- Approximately eight years of experience in a similar position is desirable.
- Cloud infrastructure experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP is desirable.
- Jenkins or Azure certifications and REST API experience are desirable.
- Good oral and written English communication skills and the ability to work with engineering teams and remote collaborators.
