Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing team of specialist Solutions Architects.
- Develop strategic relationships with customer technical leaders and lead executive-level technical discussions.
- Represent AWS as a technical thought leader through executive discussions, public speaking, and written content.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies, including Generative AI, analytics, and automation, in customer solutions.
- Guide the development of whitepapers, presentations, and other customer-facing best-practice content.
- Develop and execute strategies for long-term adoption and growth across data and developer tools, advanced compute, core services, migration and modernization, or business applications.
- Partner with Solution Architecture, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training teams on customer acquisition programs and strategies.
- Capture customer feedback and help influence AWS product, service, and go-to-market roadmaps.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience managing technical teams of Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, or similar technical professionals.
- Experience architecting or operating solutions built on a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Experience engaging directly with customers, particularly Vice Presidents and C-level executives.
- Preferred: experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Preferred: AWS Professional-level certification or a degree in advanced technology.
- Preferred: deep expertise in at least two domains such as analytics, databases, storage, AI/ML, or compute.
