Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test production-grade Kubernetes operators, controllers, CRDs, reconciliation logic, status and event handling, finalizers, and resilient idempotent automation.
- Develop configuration-as-data templates, environment-specific rendering, Git-based workflows, shared parameter models, and configuration builders.
- Create and optimize multi-environment and multi-cluster GitOps repositories using FluxCD, Helm, and Kustomize.
- Automate CNF lifecycle management, including upgrades, dependency handling, scaling, and clean teardown.
- Build and test integrations with Kafka, Logging Operator, Telegraf, Vault/ESO, GitLab, and Artifactory.
- Implement observability, error handling, retry and backoff behavior, RBAC, secret management, provenance controls, and security compliance integrations.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security scanning, and release processes.
- Produce architecture documentation, API descriptions, runbooks, application documents, and user manuals.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable STEM program.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in software development.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, ideally Go or Python.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Kubernetes APIs, CRDs, reconciliation patterns, finalizers, and RBAC.
- Solid experience with GitOps, Helm or Kustomize, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Proven expertise in software architecture.
- Business-fluent English skills.
