Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise automation products and reusable automation components.
- Develop automation solutions using C#, Python, PowerShell, Bash, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure as code.
- Develop automation for provisioning, remediation, orchestration, reporting, compliance, and service fulfillment.
- Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations across enterprise platforms.
- Administer Azure cloud services and Azure Kubernetes Service environments.
- Own the availability, performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and lifecycle management of automation platforms.
- Manage upgrades, patching, version and dependency management, end-of-life remediation, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
- Support architecture reviews, technical governance, automation strategy, platform roadmaps, and engineering standards.
- Provide production support, incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for enterprise platforms and integrations.
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, audit, compliance, regulatory, risk management, and vendor management activities.
- Create and maintain operational procedures and runbooks for managed service execution.
- Identify and implement AI-assisted automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience across Automation Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments and mission-critical platforms.
- Experience administering Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, enterprise file systems, storage, permissions, certificates, and service accounts.
- Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting, server provisioning, configuration management, patching, operating system lifecycle management, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V, SSL/TLS certificate management, PKI fundamentals, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, third-party platforms, integrations, and production environments using logs, monitoring, and vendor documentation.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST and SOAP APIs, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with Azure DevOps YAML Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitHub Workflows, CI/CD, and Terraform.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure PaaS services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, Kubernetes, and API management technologies.
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, OpenID Connect, SSO integrations, authentication, authorization, and SCIM.
- Experience with monitoring and observability, incident/problem/change/release management, vulnerability management, capacity planning, disaster recovery, business continuity, audit, compliance, and vendor management.
- Preferred qualifications include a related master's degree, Automation or Platform Engineering COE experience, Terraform Cloud, Ansible Automation Platform, SailPoint IDM, Okta, SOX/SOC/ISO/PCI compliance experience, Azure certifications, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
