Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Write optimized database queries and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and perform database-operation performance tuning.
- Integrate PL/SQL components into larger software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Document technical specifications and maintain code quality standards.
- Work independently, contribute to team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems.
- Share knowledge with and guide junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including efficient database queries and stored procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database-related issues and integrate PL/SQL components into larger software systems.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
