Base Salary
$195k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own application and infrastructure security across AWS through threat modeling, design and code reviews, and remediation of identified issues.
- Own identity and access management, including least-privilege IAM and scoped, auditable production access for engineers and AI agents.
- Establish engineering-wide security baselines and durable controls.
- Partner with the platform team to integrate security into CI/CD and developer tooling.
- Define safe operating practices for AI coding agents interacting with real systems.
- Partner with Adyen's security organization to apply its security practices and scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software or security engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience securing cloud-native systems, preferably in AWS, with the ability to read and write code.
- Depth in several areas including application and product security, IAM and access management, vulnerability management, and detection and response.
- Ability to solve security problems structurally by making the secure path the default.
- Comfort operating autonomously as the first dedicated security hire.
