Base Salary
$195k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own application and infrastructure security across the AWS environment.
- Conduct threat modeling for new systems and review designs and code.
- Manage identity and access, ensuring least-privilege IAM practices.
- Establish security baselines and durable controls for the engineering organization.
- Integrate security into CI/CD processes and developer tooling.
- Collaborate with Adyen's security organization to enhance security practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software or security engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience securing cloud-native systems, preferably AWS.
- Proficient in application and product security, IAM, vulnerability management, and detection and response.
- Ability to solve security problems structurally and make safe practices the default.
- Comfortable operating autonomously as the first dedicated security hire.
