Base Salary
$85k - $97k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and manage public-cloud infrastructure, compute resources, VPCs, private networks, routes, rules, IAM roles, and subscriptions.
- Provision and deploy applications across AWS and Azure environments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and ARM templates.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps functions and manage deployments using UDeploy, Starling, and Mario.
- Create and maintain Dockerfiles, manifest files, and Helm charts for different environments and orchestrators.
- Operate and support mission-critical distributed systems, including incident management, root cause analysis, monitoring, logging, alerting, high availability, and reliability.
- Configure and maintain monitoring and instrumentation services at scale.
- Engineer, size, install, configure, and maintain mission-critical applications.
- Troubleshoot cloud issues using strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with one or more of Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with public cloud and cloud infrastructure build, including AWS or Azure.
- Experience provisioning compute resources and managing IAM roles and cloud subscriptions.
- Experience building VPCs, private networks, network routes, and network rules in public cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Splunk.
- Experience managing systems with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM, or IAM.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers, and PaaS technologies such as Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, or Rancher.
- Experience with Jenkins, IAM, VPC, ECS, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with Azure application deployment processes and Azure Active Directory.
- Production-support expertise, including incident management, root cause analysis, real-time monitoring, and high availability and reliability of critical systems.
- Experience instrumenting, operating, monitoring, logging, and alerting distributed systems at scale.
- Cloud-platform certifications are preferred.

- Base compensation range of $85,000-$96,655, excluding potential variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
