Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly in enterprise customer environments.
- Develop AI agents and experiences using prompts, reasoning, tool calls, integrations, and Salesforce’s Agentic AI platform.
- Own technical components from architecture selection through deployment, validation, and production observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Model data, validate pipeline output, and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Contribute to proofs of concept and MVPs, co-build with customers and partners, and provide enablement and best practices.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into deployed agentic solutions.
- Identify platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights for senior engineers and product teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
- At least one production system that the candidate can discuss, ideally involving AI technology, full-stack development, or frontier models.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate with sales teams and customer architects and deliver quality code.
- Experience evaluating AI outputs with engineering rigor and curiosity about emerging AI, data, tools, and models.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- English and Polish language proficiency.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications or platform experience, familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex, and experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
