Responsibilities
- Partner with internal departments to understand workflows, pain points, data, and problems worth solving.
- Break down unclear or complex situations into manageable steps and streamline business processes.
- Assess where AI solutions are appropriate and work pragmatically across competing stakeholder priorities.
- Build, test, and deploy LLM-powered applications and agents from prototype through production.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation, tool integrations, prompts, and context handling.
- Build evaluations using test sets, automated checks, and quality dashboards, then improve solutions based on results.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that feed AI systems.
- Plan work independently, provide regular updates, and document solutions.
Requirements
- Around two or more years of software engineering or applied ML experience, or equivalent project experience.
- Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and a project using RAG or agents, including evaluation experience.
- Familiarity with SQL or data pipelines and at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues and explain technical topics simply.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and navigate organizational complexity and competing priorities.
- Structured, pragmatic approach to identifying problems and simplifying complexity.
- Consulting, internship, or stakeholder-facing project experience is preferred.
