Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Convert 2–3 active customer evaluations into committed Chimera design wins.
- Port, architect, adapt, profile, and optimize customer workloads, including writing custom kernels when required.
- Work remotely and on-site with customer engineering teams to debug failures, meet benchmark targets, and guide model-architecture tradeoffs.
- Drive customer evaluations end-to-end from initial technical conversation through design win.
- Build reusable SDK skills, porting playbooks, agentic content, applications, and benchmark collateral.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to relay customer learnings and shape the roadmap.
Requirements
- Strong C++ and Python skills and experience writing performance-critical code for a constrained target such as a DSP, NPU, GPU, or embedded SoC.
- Systems-level performance intuition involving memory bandwidth, data movement, cycle-level reasoning, and profile analysis.
- High agency, independent problem-solving, and a methodical, empirical working style.
- Comfort operating amid ambiguity without an established playbook.
- Preferred experience includes FAE, Sales Engineering, FDE, embedded, ML-systems, kernel optimization, inference-focused startup, NPU or edge-AI semiconductor, or hands-on technical consulting experience.
- Familiarity with Claude Code and MCP is preferred, or candidates should show strong enthusiasm for adopting agentic development tooling.
