Base Salary
$79k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers and support account teams in planning and executing sales strategies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in electric, gas, and/or telecommunications and a technical expert in ArcGIS.
- Create and propose GIS solutions that address customer business challenges and demonstrate business value.
- Present technical demonstrations and explain proposed solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide best practices for the use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology.
- Present at conferences and trade shows and help anticipate customer needs and relevant technology trends.
- Troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture.
- Integrate software solutions with business systems, real-time information streams, and existing GIS and IT infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
- At least 1 year of experience in electric, gas, and/or telecommunications.
- Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Experience with technical consulting, conceptual solution design, sales, and business development processes.
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, listening, and customer communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience troubleshooting Esri application deployment and system architecture is preferred.
- Experience integrating solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms is preferred.
- Experience incorporating real-time information streams with GIS data and IT infrastructure is preferred.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts is preferred.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python and JavaScript is preferred.
- A master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
