Responsibilities
- Manage and execute end-to-end application deployments across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate deployments and environment provisioning using PowerShell or scripting.
- Coordinate release activities including deployment planning and post-deployment validation.
- Support application hosting deployments on Windows servers/IIS.
- Assist in SQL deployment activities and validate changes.
- Monitor deployments, troubleshoot failures, and resolve issues with application/dev teams.
- Maintain deployment documentation including release notes and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with change management and best practices.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Deployment/Release Engineering or DevOps support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows-based hosting setups.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for running deployment scripts and validating changes.
- Basic knowledge of IIS for application pool and website bindings.
