Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance throughout sales cycles and partner engagements.
- Understand customer use cases and pain points and design tailored solutions.
- Deliver product demos, proofs of concept, proofs of value, workshops, bootcamps, and certifications.
- Prepare RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, playbooks, demo assets, guides, and case studies.
- Translate business challenges into DevRev-aligned architectures and scalable solutions.
- Support customization, integrations, configurations, onboarding, and issue resolution with Product and Engineering.
- Enable partner SEs, resellers, integrators, and sales teams through training and technical materials.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships and ensure smooth handoffs to Customer Success.
- Monitor competitors, share market insights, mentor peers, and support solution strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Solutions or Sales Engineering, ideally within B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated experience delivering product demos, workshops, technical proposals, proofs of concept, and proofs of value.
- Strong discovery, consultative selling, communication, storytelling, presentation, and whiteboarding skills.
- Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams and engaging technical and executive stakeholders.
- Technical acumen across APIs, integrations, DevOps, cloud platforms, modern SaaS stacks, webhooks, and database querying with SQL.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and exposure to Jira, GitHub, Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and low-code platforms.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Bonus experience with GenAI tools, prompt design, and LLM-based workflows.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
