Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack solutions using .NET, ASP.NET MVC, TypeScript, Angular or Vue, Entity Framework, and ADO.NET.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain applications supporting EY’s Tax practice.
- Estimate technical effort, define work breakdown structures, assess risks, and propose solution approaches.
- Work with SQL Server databases, including queries, stored procedures, database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Build and integrate Azure cloud solutions, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Develop generative AI solutions using LLMs, Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, agentic frameworks, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Apply RAG, semantic search, vector search, hybrid search, embeddings, vector databases, and AI application security practices.
- Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools, and KPIs while contributing to development standards and leading practices.
- Communicate with team members, peers, stakeholders, and client-facing teams, and provide supervision and direction to staff.
- Identify problems proactively, evaluate causes and options, and lead appropriate solutions through resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, BE, BTech, or MCA, or equivalent work experience.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in full-stack .NET development.
- Strong experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, TypeScript, Angular or Vue, Entity Framework, and ADO.NET.
- Strong SQL Server experience covering queries, stored procedures, database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, DevOps practices, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud application development.
- Mandatory Azure expertise including App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Monitoring, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
- Experience building generative AI solutions with LLMs, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or other agentic frameworks, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Strong understanding of RAG, semantic search, vector search, hybrid search, embeddings, vector databases, and AI application security.
- Knowledge of Python and event-driven architectures.
- Strong technical design, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with limited direction and oversight and provide supervision and direction to team members.
- Master’s degree, tax or finance domain knowledge, management experience, and awareness of emerging technologies are preferred.
